ARCTIC PARADE / PRACTICAL GUIDANCE
Keep the review moving.
Find the right starting point, understand an uncertain result, or send a safe support request.
Start without a cloud account
Create a free workspace and try a fictional estate. Import a small anonymised inventory, review an action, assign an owner and prepare an estate report. Configuration and AWS Health examples are fictional; no provider account is needed to exercise the workflow.
Configuration collection is unavailable
Live Azure/AWS configuration collection is disabled pending authorised provider validation. An implemented adapter or fictional pass does not establish live compatibility. If the platform later makes collection available, an administrator must approve the baseline and separate connection consent.
A result says unknown or needs review
Check the resource scope, source freshness, supported setting and collection status. Denied access, unsupported metadata, incomplete lists and unlisted/stale lifecycle facts do not establish a pass. An empty queue is not proof that every resource is supported or unaffected.
A version declaration is different from an observation
A declaration records a version supplied by your team. It does not discover application traffic. The provider-version preview has its own narrow resource scopes; AWS Health also needs an eligible support plan and exact resource matching. Read Coverage before interpreting either.
A pass has not closed the work
Technical assessment and human completion are separate. Keep an owner, internal date and completion evidence. A later deviation or changed lifecycle source can require another review. Risk acceptance expires and does not remove the technical warning.
Reports, limits and offboarding
Use the estate report and your browser Print / Save as PDF. Inventory and configuration share capacity; the same identified resource in an estate counts once. Retained configuration identities still count until estate removal; contact support if you need removal assistance. Disconnecting a connector does not revoke its permissions at the cloud provider.
Contact
Email arran@arcticparade.com with the page, approximate time, error reference and safe steps to reproduce. Remove customer names, passwords, keys and personal data from attachments. The early-access target is an initial response within two UK business days. This is a target, not a contractual SLA; security and availability incidents take priority.
