Bookings, consultations, and CRM
Operations
How booking requests, pre-consultation forms, patient records, and CRM follow-up now work together.
Standard booking flow
•
A patient chooses a service, date, and time from the clinic website.
•
If the service does not need approval or payment, the booking can confirm immediately.
•
A confirmation email is sent and a pre-consultation intake link is generated for the patient.
•
The patient and booking are written into the CRM timeline for staff follow-up.
Consultation-first services
•
Use this when a treatment should only be confirmed after an initial consultation is reviewed.
•
The website will accept the request, but it will not take payment or auto-confirm the appointment.
•
Staff get a CRM task to review the request and the pre-consultation link still goes out.
•
Once the consultation is complete, the team can move the patient into the right treatment booking.
Approval-required services
•
Use approval mode when the clinic wants staff to manually confirm the slot.
•
This is different from consultation-first: approval is operational, consultation-first is clinical.
